Share The Load, Multiply Love! Join Ariel India’s #ShareTheLoad Movement

It has been more than 90 days and this Quarantine, or the Lock-down phase has thought us extremely valuable lesson. It was like the RESUME/PAUSE button in the washing machine that had made us to hold/pause our life for about 3 months;

No wonder, This PAUSE & RESUME phase has given us the time to get in touch with old school friends, discover new hobbies, find our passion and even discover some hidden talents like painting, drawing and surprise our family members by cooking and so on. Everyone must have learnt at-lease one new thing.

If there was one thing I have learnt during this period would be "Thankful for my life”. There is only one life and we need to value this life. We have a lot of loving and blessed relationships around us.
That’s the positive side. On the other side, as a new mom my life turned to be always busy and tired. During first few months, I always realized that I don’t have a lot of time for myself.

In olden days, women stayed at home and Husbands went out to work, hence women took care of all household chores. It was a mandatory expectation from woman  to clean and cook.

Nowadays, both men and woman go out for work and people preferred maids to cut the burden.

We had maids 2 maids for cooking and cleaning. But due to lock-down, we stopped our maids and household chores had become a problem for me

My daily routine started with sweeping the house and cleaning it, then in cooking food. We recently had a new baby and washing the baby clothes was challenging. The baby dress must be Washed separately and it needs to be soaked in warm water before and after the wash. Since the baby skin is so sensitive, extra care needs to be taken. Secondly, the dark-colored and light-colored baby clothes needs to be washed separately. One of the biggest problems of washing baby clothes in hand is when the clothes are thin and fine, the fabric damage so quick and sometimes the clothes tear. So, it has to be washed with utmost care. Altogether it took 2 hours of my time each day. My lives become hectic.

But on seeing me struggle, my  husband started to help in washing operations and #ShareTheLoad . He always believe that both wives and husbands should share responsibility for doing household chores and #ShareTheLaundry and #ShareChoresMultiplyLove. He was always my best friend and without his support and encouragement, I don't think I would have actually come so far.
It was such a relief when my hubby helped inhouse cores. I will make sure that my children do house jobs and help regularly with chores.

‘I will #ShareTheLoad and help in household chores in association with Ariel India and BlogAdda
