Saturday Series - Interview with Ramesh Tehlani

Saturday Series - Interview with Ramesh Tehlani

It’s time to meet another debut author and learn from their successful publishing journey. Here, we go an interesting interview with Ramesh Tehlani, who believes, "Focus, smartness, proper marketing, management & quality of work are the key to success"

What inspired you to write ?

Every day is new day and world is changing very fast. It gives us opportunity to see very interesting things, circumstances and stories. These stories can motivate and entertain others, but not all. So, I decided to share such personal experiences and stories, which gave me motivation and entertainment. I wanted to share my thoughts. Objectives of entertainment, motivation and sharing of my thoughts with people inspire me to write this piece of fiction.

What was the hardest part about completing your book?

First hard part was to keep suspense in the story till the end with entertainment.
Another hard part was Editing. I believe my English is not well, so getting editing done was very tough task for me but luckily I found some people, who helped me to get over this challenge.

Did you learn any lessons in the book creation process, if so what where they?

I learnt many life-changing lessons. First is, I learn the story telling. I learnt to enjoy hard work with great objective in mind. I learnt to express my honest feelings, without fear of critics. Writing book and getting it publish is not less than like any NASA mission for people like me. It took me 4 years to complete the manuscript and get it publishable.

What tips or advice do you have for aspiring authors?

My tip to new authors is to knock as many doors as possible. Getting publish is a long journey. If you are dreaming for being published writer, fight for your dream.

Are you writing or planning to write an additional book(s)?

Yes. I will surely write in future.

What else would you like to share about you or your book - She Fell(Fail) in Love.. Once Again..

About me, I am very straightforward and aggressive person. I love to follow my dreams.  Mission of my life is to help and give smile to people. Book is based on my real life experiences and learning about ethics, spirituality, corporate politics. This book is my effort to entertain people.

How can people find out more about your book - She Fell(Fail) in Love.. Once Again..

Book is available on leading websites like flipkart.com, amazon.in, bookadda.com etc. and soon it will be available on kobo, diesel and various book channel distributors.

On a typical weekend, what do you do?

Nothing special. I am businessman and run a real estate company. So I used to work 7 days in week. Whenever get opportunity and spare time, I like to watch new movies.

Lessons learned in your life?

Honesty and hard work pays but with focus, smartness, proper marketing, management & quality of work.

Trekking to Narasimha Parvatha and Kudlu Teertha

Trekking to Narasimha Parvatha and Kudlu Teertha

Distance from Bangalore: 362 Kms
Trek difficulty Level: Moderate to Difficult
  • Day 1 :
    • To Reach Narasimha Parvata
      • Route -  From Malandur to Peak (13 kms).
      • On the way halt at BARKANA FALLS.
  • Day 2 –
    • Reach Kigga
      • From Narasimha Parvata to Kigga (6 kms)
    • Sirimane Falls
    • Kudlu Theertha Falls
    • Shringeri Sharadamba Temple
Day before the trek:
This trip was absolutely an unplanned one for myself. Since it was a wild card entry I did not arrange sleeping mat/sleeping bag/Raincoat/Poncho.
Two day trek in dense Rain forest without any planning?
My “I can” attitude pushed forward and we all gathered at Shantala Silk House. Luckily one person had both Sleeping mat and sleeping bag, with sense of relaxation I adopted (grabbed) the sleeping mat and took care of it so much as if it was my child. Our TT started around 10 PM and after chit-chat we went to sleep.

Day 1:
Around 4 AM we are asked to get down from TT as the vehicle tyre got puncture. Luckily it stopped in front of a tea-stop. Grabbing tea, we shared our previous trekking experience. We realized Nisha was missing and started to scan. Then we found her sleeping into an Auto which was parked in an auto stand. The TT resumed after the tyre fix. Aftermath, we did not sleep for a while. Because the road view was too good.

After 3 hours, we reached an ancient house in DODDAMANE. The famous Malgudi Days serial was filmed in this place. After fresh up, breakfast we packed our lunch and went to the guide’s house. Since, the guide was almost late for 2 hours, we started exploring the paddy fields and started playing cards. The guide’s wife treated us with tea.

Finally the guide arrived and after applying tobacco oil to protect us from leeches, we headed towards Narasimha Parvatha.

It was extremely dense forest with loose soils and leeches. On the way, we came to know its heart of naxalite area. But no such signs. Within 5 minutes of walk, I started to notice a leech crawling on my shoe. Scared by the huge Google images of Leeches, I stopped walking and tried to pull it out. But One, 2, three,.. … uncountable leeches started crawling all over me.  Getting them off was also difficult. I was so panic and started running to escape from them. Some one said it’s not a vampire, ignore it.. but I do read, Leeches drink 10 times of its own blood.:( I don’t want to donate such huge liters.
As soon as I saw the water stream I went in, removed my shoes and shocks. There were around 15 leeches crawling in the socks. I got vexed and threw my socks and changed to slippers and started hiking to Barkana falls

Barkana Falls

The view from Bankana fall was panoramic. The far end of the falls was extraordinary. It made me to forget my feet which was full of blood streams and leeches. After having lunch in the waterfalls, we stared back. The trek route was difficult. There were no proper trails. Almost 13 kms walk, It was little weary and started to longing for the old house that was constructed in the top of the peak. Its has been told that room was made by forest officials for Naxialite operations. Not sure how far it is true. Finally after drenching completely in rain and few minutes of walk, we reached the peak.

We were informed that “The old room was Very neat and clean” But it was full of water and filthy. The roof of the house was broken due to which rain has entered the house. We did not carry tents. Now we were not having any place to sleep. But we pulled up hope and decided to rejuvenate the house.

Few of the memorable moments at the peak.

  • With branches of tree leaves we made a broom and poured the water out.
  • Re-Engineering - We requested one person to climb on the top of the house and re-engineered the house roof.
  • Sharing - We were not having cups, yet we prepared delicious soup and shared. (By emptying the noodles cup and used it as a soup cup)
  • Candle light - Situation game.
  • Ready made MTR's
Finally we all slept. I was not having sleeping mat and was unable to sleep due to the bone chilling cold. Luckily I had a sweater, but it was sleeveless. But as the saying goes, “where there is a will, there is a way." I put my hands inside the sleeve, but still it was ice cold.

Day 2:
Sirimane Falls:
The next day morning, we woke up early to see the sun rise. But It was misty and could not see the sun rise. After hunting all the snacks we had, we started getting down. The trek route was visible and it was pretty easy to get down?

We thought of visiting Sirimane Falls which was just 5 kms from Kigga. Though the waterfalls was beautiful, we were unable to enjoy as it was crowded with people. We saw people polluting the water by playing with color powder. Though we did not enjoy much in the water falls, we enjoyed the food items that was available in the waterfalls. Cucumber and orange with chilly… bajjis.. hmm . Lip-smacking.Then we packed the lunch and started to trek to falls.

Kudlu Theertha Falls:
After crossing the delicate burma bridge, we walked around 4 Kms. The track was super. I was so happy and started admiring the beauty of think forest. After crossing a water stream, again we trekked around 4 kms. But after that the real trek started. The huge forest begun with huge slippery rocks and soil, broken branches of trees and LEECHES. But this time, my attitude towards Leeches changed. I did not bother much about it.

Finally we reached the falls. Water gushing between two steep hills from a height of about 300 feet was an enormous and enriching view that took away the tiredness of walking and leech bites. My mind started playing Dheem Thana Na song from Rythm movie. At that moment, I fell in love with Nature.
It was getting dark, and we started descending. It was completely rainy when we are descending.
Finally we reached our vehicle and started grabbing the foods, since we did not have from the morning.
On the way, we visited a famous temple and returned back

Saturday Series - Interview with Mehek Bassi

Interview with Mehek Bassi

Reading an author interviews is always a great way to see a writer’s footpath to success. It’s with great desire, I am going to interview and share the experience of upcoming authors. It always makes us energetic to learn from their successful publishing journey.

And my first interview with Mehek Bassi – an adoring young writer.

What inspired you to write "Chained"
Chained started as a daily diary, which turned into a short story, and with addition of some more fictional elements, it took the shape and size of a book!

What was the hardest part about completing your book?
Getting a book published is multiple times harder than writing it down, but frankly, Chained was a project which was completed very smoothly, without any hurdles, because it wasn't started with an intention of getting it published!

Did you learn any lessons in the book creation process, if so what where they?
Of Course! The most important lesson that I learnt was, be honest with your work. Write straight from your heart, and not your mind. People these days are copying down content from other books or movies or TV Shows, but that's not justice to your work.

What tips or advice do you have for aspiring authors?
Be yourself! The only advice I give to every aspiring author. Because if you try to be someone else, or write in someone else's style, you'll be creating a piece that's already selling in market under a famous name!

Are you writing or planning to write an additional book(s)?
Yes, I'm currently working on a book named 'Heer', which will be released next year (hopefully!)

What else would you like to share about you or your book - Chained.?
Well, about myself? I am a very straightforward, god-fearing, down to earth person, and I never wanted to become an author! (*laughs*). And about Chained, well, it's not only my first book, but I've poured my heart in it. It will always remain closest to my heart, and nearest to me on my bookshelf.

How can people find out more about your book - Chained?
I have a website: http://www.mehek.in Where you can find all the information about me, my books, my short stories, my blog and everything a reader might want to know!

On a typical weekend, what do you do?
Sleep! Because that's what I crave the most in weekdays. Engineering, and writing, don't go smooth together. For writing you need free time, relaxation, peace and a mood to think, and in engineering, you hardly get any of it!

Lessons learned in your life?
One and the only most important lesson I've learned is, if you love something/someone, never let it go. Relationships once lost, can't be formed again in a similar way, never hurt your loved ones because of your ego. Because the regret you will feel later, will kill you inside...

TOUCH (The One You Cannot Have) Thursday - What women really want from men.

TOUCH (The One You Cannot Have) Thursday - What women really want from men.
And here it is... my entry for TOUCH Thursdays no: 3

Here's the prompt -
Anjali is a character in the book. She has dated 6 men and rejected all of them. She is still looking for Mr.Right. She feels it is hard to get what she is looking for. Her friend Sriram Surve, would say the same about women--that it is hard to understand women. If you are a guy, write  3 things (or more!) that you really want from women. If you are a woman, write 3 things (or more)  that you really want from men.
I always believe expectations lead to giant disappointments. But still, I could not stop myself from having an expectation for my better half. After all, who does not dream of their man and envision daily?
Though Love is not a catalogue which is to be crossed checked against our partner, I pray god for the below in my life partner.
  1. Who can find my sorrows behind my fake smile
  2. Who can Ignore my negatives
  3. Accept me as I am
  4. And finally small silly fights followed by unconditional love

Zoom to Mekedatu

Zoom to Mekedatu.

We all decided to meet at Banashankari petrol bunk sharp at 6.00 AM. I felt hesitant, when my alarm sounded sharp at 4.30 and disturbed my sleep.
“Sunday 4.30?” I pushed myself so hard to get ready. But I never knew at that point, an array of rafting (kind of), open-top bus tour, trekking, Mountaineering, biking is waiting to treat us. 24 members gathered at Banashankari by almost 6.30 AM and after our introduction section, we zoomed to kanakapura to escape from Bangalore traffic. We were requested to turn on the fog lights, to identify our bikes. Since there were no traffic at that time, the road was totally engaged only with the BTC member’s bike. Almost 15 bikes with fog light roaring on a misty road – Phewwww it was an awesome view.
We were fortunate as it was drizzling till 4 AM and the surface of the roads were build up with coating of water. After having breakfast at kanakapuram, we kicked off our journey.
As I closed my eyes admiring the greenery and blue sky to capture the gentle breeze kissing on my face, I realised a hot blow on my face. When I opened my eyes, all I could see was a complete dark, black cloud. I could not see anyone in front. I made sure I was not wearing goggles (wondering that might the reason for gloomy). But to my dis-appointment, still it was complete dark. After racing few distance, we realised it was lorry spewing black smoke.  Then we crossed a village and 3 hair-pin bends. We trooped the bikes to capture a snap in front of a hill view. The Hills were still partially covered with the fog and cloud.
We reached Sangama River and to reach Mekedatu, we need to cross the river. Since the water level was little high, we took bowl shaped coracles to reach the other end. Followed by my destructive questions, "What if the woven bamboo sticks in the coracles broke of?” we all got into coracles.
Once we crossed half of the river, the boat man jumped into the river as the water level was low and started walking in the water, by pulling the coracles
After crossing the river, we saw a bus which will take us to Mekedatu. If I could had have a chance to chat with my Grandparents’ grandparents, they might confirm, they have been in those buses during their child hood. Yeah, the bus was very very old. We sat on the top of the bus and had bumpy ride for 4 KMS. Someone had a question, how this buses could fill the petrol and check the air in the tyres? We travelled without making any Noise and as soon as someone crosses, we started shouting as high as we could and scared the people who were trekking on the road.
Finally we reached Mekedatu and was lost with the beauty of the stone designs. A gang of monkeys decided to start a war against us by exposing its teeth and tried to grasp our bags from the hand. But we all united and fought with the monkey to save our bags. The monkeys ran away with disappointment. After that, we splashed water on each other face and had good fun. Sorry not splashing, we actually poured dirty water  by filling the water that was stored in between the rocks in water bottle and drenched everyone. One person who tried to escape from drenching his head, started running and slipped his leg and fell into a big pit and got completely wet.

We started to descend down and crossing Kanapura the rain started cats and dogs and few of our people rushed to bus bay and few had shelter in the petrol bunk. We finally reached Mysore road after enjoying the drizzle along with drenching in rain and bid bye to all of them.
From now on, Sunday are not to explore the dreams under bedsheets till 10 AM. Sundays are to explore the nature..
BTC ROCKS!!!

When Life puts you down..

When life puts you down because of 2 reasons– either your boyfriend has screwed or your husband has left you. The person whom you trusted or thought can hold his hand till your death bed is not with you now. And as a woman, you are made-up to wear different hats: Wife, Sister, Colleague, Mother, Girlfriend, etc…

Forgive yourself:
The biggest mistake we do is to punish our-self for selecting the wrong person. Hold-on. Every experience in our life, is only to make us better. Forgive yourself and believe that this bad experience is going to shape you.

Take a Break:

Switch off your mobile. Carry a Notebook and pen and amble away to a place where you get some free space. It could be a park, Beach or temple. Just scribble whatever comes to your mind. Want to curse him? Write it. After sometime you could feel relaxed. Then tear the paper and take a fresh page and write down your wish list. Things you love to achieve in your life. And what are the steps you need to take. This will rejuvenate you and will see things from a different perspective

Trust God

Sometimes, it’s okay to surrender yourself to god and pray for the best. It may sound silly. But, when none of your friends and family are not in position to help you due to circumstances or their busy schedule. It’s okay to trust him and lay down under his arms (will write a separate post on how Divinity and thoughts are linked)

Time Answers Everything:

And always remember, it takes time to cure. Don't expect recover in a day or week. Just keep your mind and heart open for new life, new love and new adventurous..

And as the Raja Rani Movie tagline declares...

There is Life after love failure...
There is love after love failure...

Keep smiling and Focus on your life ....

A Railway line trek to Dudhsagar Falls

This post has won I am Explorer contest organized by Indiblogger.

A Railway line trek to Dudhsagar Falls

  • Dudhsagar Falls -  literally Sea of Milk
  • India's 5th tallest waterfall
  • Distance from Bangalore - 570 Kms
  • Trek difficulty Level - Moderate

Trek to Dudhsagar would undeniably be a dream trekking place for all the trek freaks and it was on my bucket list since last few months.
Etymology:
As the cascading waters appear white like milk, the waterfall is called Dudhsagar, Doodh being the Hindi word for milk.
Legend:
Legend has it that a beautiful princess lived in the forest (near present day Dudhsagar Falls) in a palace. She loved and enjoyed bathing in a lake nearby and used to drink "sweetened milk" from her "golden jug" after finishing with her bath. One day while enjoying her jug of milk she found herself being watched by a prince, who was standing amongst the trees. Red with embarrassment at her inadequate bathing attire, she poured the jug of milk in front of him to form an improvised curtain to hide her body while the maids rushed to cover her with her dress. It is said that it is that sweetened milk that cascades down the mountain slope as Dudhsagar Falls to this day as a tribute to the virtue and modesty of the princess.
My Experience:
We had 2 options to board the train -one from KR Puram and other from Yeshwantpur station. The adventures started well before we boarded the train. Yes, we were lost in conversation about previous trekking experience and were waiting in Platform number 3 for Vasco express. On hearing the train whistle we took all the huge luggage and gawked the direction of the sound. Unfortunately, the whistle boomed from platform number 4. Dead opposite to us. We all were disappointed and placed the luggage’s back in place. The train halted in platform no 4 and luckily, “Chennai to Vasco” caught the attention of our eyes and someone screamed, “That’s our train”.  We snatched all our luggage’s again and jumped on to the railway track and rushed to our respective coach which was little far.  We could not stop the discussion of how the railway trek got kicked off right from there. After chit-chats we went to sleep and woke up next day. The time we got up we were about to reach Hubli station. The view from Hubli station to Dharwad was mesmerizing. Almost at 11 P.M we got down at Castle Rock

Day 1: CastleRock to Dudhsagar

The team was split into 2 and the first group started walking away. (Let the reason for splitting into 2 groups be a secret within US). Megaraj had a tough time to make us stroll as we kept halting for posing the camera and got struck by magnificence of Dudhsgar.  The big twist and challenge came to him, when he observed Kushal (who was an amateur photographer) went on with a few professional photographers (Not from our team). The professional photography team was capturing each and every move and it took a hard time to pull him back to our team.
“Train, Guys Train. Get off the Track” - It was really an amusing experience on alarming our friends behind us on hearing a whistle sound. "Wow...Jaw-dropping,.. Look there..., Mind Blowing..." was the most frequent words we kept repeating during our whole trek

When we were about to cross the tunnel, a train came and all engrossed to the wall. It was mind-blowing to see the train passing inside the dark tunnel and sensing its vibration. Finally, We all reached at 4 PM and started building the tent beside the water fall (Just 100 Mts from the waterfall) and 5 mts from Railway track. After a nice bath in the water, we came to our camping, prepared food and finished our dinner. It was an astounding to sleep inside the tent, listening to the shuddering train sound and water gushing

Day 2(Dudhsagar to Sonalium station)

We all got up at 5 next morning and after preparing the breakfast the rain started cats and dogs. We packed all our tents drenching in the rain and started our day 2 trek(Another 10 KMS). 6 KMS in railway line and 4 KMS in Forest Route. After bidding bye to few people at Sonaliam station who planned to visit GOA, we took the forest route. As we went deep inside forest, a wild animal stopped us and was staring at us. Since I was wearing a red-t shirt all perpetuated the myth that red makes bulls go wild and it’s going to attack you. Fear in my eyes, I pushed another person forward, but the bull took one step forward and we took one step backward. By the time, few other friends joined us, and on seeing a big gang, the bull ran away. We passed almost 5 streams and finally reached the station. We all took a train to Londa by 4:45 PM. We had to take General compartment, as there was no booking. A drunker who was sitting on foot board and taking snaps in his camera lost his balance and fell down from the running train. We tried to stop the train by pulling the chain, but as we already crossed 1 kms we ignored. Now each and every tunnel which we crossed by our feet, we were passing by train.

One would definitely take back 3 memories - camping beside a waterfall, travelling in dark tunnel, walking for 14 kms along the railway tracks admiring the greenery, mist, and rain and playing in mini-waterfalls...

P.S: Trip to Dudhsagar would definetely a rejuvenating one..

Upgrade your Car with Quikr NXT

Upgrade your Car with Quikr NXT

This post is purely fictional
I am damn crazy about cars. One of the items in my bucket list is to drive all the cars that are in the world before I die. Of course it’s a realistic wish that could be easily achieved. I could visit all car showrooms and take a test drive. But my pleasure was not in driving all the cars once or taking a test drive. My wish is to own all the cars and explore them. The happiness that I get when I own the car is much more than I take a test drive for just 10 KMS or so. I longed to exchange my car every 6 month.

My idea was simple, Sell my existing car and buy a new one. But practically it’s not possible. May be possible, but it comes with a huge cost.

When you take the car to the showroom and ask for an exchange price, your blood gets boiled when you see the price they quote for the car.  Requesting help from Dealers for exchange is also not a good idea. They simply take a lot of commission charge. So, going to showroom or contacting dealers is a poor idea. The best way is to sell the car yourself to some private party and buy a new one. In order to do this, you need lots of contacts and network. Here comes Quikr NXT which offers a perfect solution for all. Quikr NXT is the best way to trade the car with most profit as well as buy the car of our favorite choice.

Also, Owing a BMW 7 Series car is my dream and when I found that the Starting price of BWM 7 series itself is 1.07 crores(*) and a conditions apply mark next to it. After that, I never dreamed of owning BWM cars.
Img Source - Quikr NXT
One day when I was browsing the cars category in Quikr NXT I was surprised to see Jaguar, BWM, Land Rover, and Porsche cars listed in the Brand Name section. My curiosity roared and when I checked the price of BWM the was just Luxury BMW 7 series was sold at Rs. 15,00,000 only. That too with special VIP number.  Now, I am planning to re-visit my bucket list and modify it. Yeah, since I will be getting cars in cheap and affordable prices I can buy own 5 cars and use each one every day.  Monday BWM, Tuesday Jaguar and so on.

The Quikr NXT is very much useful during re-locating. When I first got my job transferred from Hyderabad to Bangalore I faced lot of difficulties in getting the car registration transferred to Karnataka state from Andra Pradesh state. Getting no objection certification from Hyderabad RTO officer was hectic and sluggish. Though I had all the mandatory documents and the insurance was renewed on time, I had to wait for 10 days. Luckily my colleague at Hyderabad asked my car for a good price and I sold to him in Andra Pradesh itself. Then I brought a latest, updated car at Bangalore. Quikr NXT will be very much helpful during those times.

This post is written as a part of Upgrade your Car with Quikr NXT! contest organized by Indiblogger in association with Quikr NXT!

17 Life Lessons from Stray Dogs

17 Life Lessons from Stray dogs
  1. Life is more beautiful when you share and care.Even though they never have enough to go around, they never hesitate to share what little they have with others.
  2. Always be on the lookout for opportunities. These guys aren't survivors for nothing. They grab every single opportunity they see and make the most of what they have.
  3. The importance of a nap. Got a problem you can't quite solve? Take a nap. Dog certified.
  4. To enjoy time with your family. Family time is important, so always try to make some space in your busy schedule for some fun with your loved ones.
  5. That it pays to be patient. Haste makes waste. Sometimes, you just have to bide your time and wait for the right moment.
  6. To love unconditionally. It takes a lot to love someone without expectations or judgment. These guys love for the sake of love.
  7. That being cute gets things done. When all else fails, make puppy dog eyes.
  8. And never underestimate yourself. Never get daunted by any task, obstacle or opponent. Bring it on giant foot!
  9. That nothing beats the blues like a good hug.Go ahead. Hug someone right now.
  10. To always keep your eye on the prize. Do you really want to achieve something in life? Yes? Then keep your eyes on the prize.
  11. To stick up for someone. Want to learn to be a hero? Learn from them.
  12. To love your mom. Be a good puppy and shower your mom with the love she deserves.
  13. To improvise like a boss. And have some fun while at it. Like we said, they have it tough. But that doesn't stop them, does it?
  14. To ask for help. And get it. Sometimes, all you have to do is ask.
  15. To be a doting parent. Love your kids. Because they grow up really fast.
  16. Meet your problems head on. Because only then can you solve them faster.
  17. And of course, no matter what, always keep smiling.

Testimonials for Touch of Mist

Testimonials for Touch of Mist

'A remarkable piece of work from a young author'

-Arjun Deep Singh Pahwa, Author of The Love, Hate and All That

Beautiful narration and presentation...
colloquial conversations gives the narrative a realistic touch,
in a nut shell, your book is definitely going to strike a chord...
Prasanta Mahanta, Author of Love-not out-Peace

Deeply moving and highly engaging story which entertains and makes you think at same time.

                                   - Arpit Vageria Author of Chockolate Sauce: Smooth Dark Sinful

An unconventional and pacing love story! A soiree of the readers with the book is certain.

Mehek Bassi Author of Chained

There's something so strikingly honest about this story of love, that the characters will - slowly, but surely - walk straight into your heart. The strong emotional undercurrent only adds to the charm. It's lucid, it's colourful, it's heart-warming, and even with the dark themes that run through it, it's ultimately hopeful and uplifting

There is an inherent mystique in the story that the author has created that might well appeal to the intellectual YA market exactly as you've written it, including all the colors and icons you used in your narrative, all of which are vehemently eschewed by traditionalists.  But I GONNA QUIT isn't traditional in any way, and for this reason I found it rather remarkable.
To put this in more specific terms, for me, your opening was a stream-of-conscious experience no different from the first time I read Joyce or Faulkner.  Now I'm not at all implying your writing is at that level, but it gave me the same "feeling" as I read through the narrative.
With respect to your protagonist, Reene has an honest vulnerability that a great many YA readers might empathize with.  Most everyone has had a bad relationship, not so much so that each of us would want to kill ourselves, but certainly we've all felt really bad about something that went sour with someone we really cared about.  The raw emotion of this heartbreak is what I took from your opening.

Aneesh halted his bike on observing the traffic signal. Aneesh love to ride bike especially with his love Anitha. And much more, he loves to halt at signal. Because those few second conversation which he have during the wait... would be more ...INTIMATE...
But today, each second was hectic for him, even-though Anitha was behind him.
Reason being, they were in fight.
Reason for fight?!
Come on..
It was just an another idiotic fight which they had for goofy reason.

Aneesh had a glance at her face in the rear mirror and turned his face towards his left side.
“Isn’t she beautiful?” Anitha asked him and he nodded his head.
“You… You will admire another girl...and in-turn you will accept it with proud. I hate you, Aneesh” She scolded him and got down from his bike and started moving away.
Aneesh took out the helmet and removed his earphones which was plugged into his ears and wondered, “Was listening to songs and nodding my heard was a crime?. Weird. This time, I am not going to convince her for sure.” He thought and zoomed his bike to his room and found his roommate having drinks. With anger, he took the bottle, had it in a single gulp and started screaming, “Girls are very complex...When they are sad, they expect us to be sad. If they are happy, they expect us to fly with joy. Irrespective of our feelings..."
His mobile buzzed.
“Sorry Aneesh” Anitha replied the other end.
“Honey, Please don’t mention. It was my mistake. I am sorry”
“Hey your voice is different? Did you booze?”
He acted  as if he got a cough and said, “Drinks ah? The moment you came into my life I even stopped drinking water and you know that sweetie. I got drenched in rain and got a bad throat and cough dear”
“Oops, have cough syrup”
“Sure Sweet heart.." He blushed and relaxed
But damn sure.. he learnt a lesson today. Sometimes playing prank would save a fight :)
